Built by someone who has been there

Applying for jobs quietly became a full-time job of its own. In software engineering a single application can run to six or eight distinct stages — resume screen, cognitive assessment, digital interview, coding challenge, assessment centre, panel, final round — and each one arrives with its own turnaround, often 48 to 72 hours.

Apply to several companies at once and it stops being a list. I was juggling a cognitive test due tomorrow, a coding challenge the day after, and interviews across the week, while trying to remember which company wanted which format. The mental overhead was the hardest part, and none of it was the actual work of getting hired.

Ployable came out of that. Every part of it — the board, the custom stages, the deadline timeline, the funnel — answers a specific point where I lost track of something. It is built so the admin of a job search takes as little of your attention as possible, and the rest can go where it matters.
